Mitch McConnell wants the president to be a one-termer

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke at The Heritage Foundation Thursday, while President Obama gave a post-election press conference Wednesday. Talking Points Memo mashed together the two press conferences.

McConnell says his “top political priority” is to deny the president a second term. They remain at odds over issues of health-care reform, unemployment extension and tax cuts.
